Soak 1 cup soybean in water for 15 minutes, until it puffs up nicely. Drain the soybean well and squeeze out the extra water with your hands.
In a bowl, add the soybean, paprika, black pepper, ginger powder, garlic powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Spray with oil and mix well using a spoon or your hands, whichever feels easier.
Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 2 minutes.
Add the soybeans to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Don’t overcrowd it. Air fry at 360°F (180°C) for 6 minutes, until golden and crunchy.
Serve with sauces, or eat it plain. It also works well as a breakfast option.
